My mom, my hero
This is me and my mom 5 years ago. People say I look like her and I stand by it. It'd be an honor to be compared to her.
My mom is the greatest person I know. She knows how to lead, to listen, to help, to be a mother, a friend, and a daughter. She might not be that successful with my father but she is most certainly successful in everything else. Her name is Gemma. She is wise in the simple ways that she has stories to tell from her journey in life that I can get lessons from. She experienced life at its core. She worked hard to get where she is now and I salute her for that. Everyday I tell her stories from my day even ones that I wouldn't let any other person know, but my mom. I tell her because I know in my heart that she will understand me, we think alike. She relates her experiences to my stories and never fails to give pieces of advice at each end of the story. I loathed the day I disobeyed her. It was the wrong thing to do and will be in my conscience forever. Another about my mom is, she knows me well. She knows when I lie, or when I am happy (even hoity-toity). And I idolize her for that. She really embodies the saying: " Mothers know best." Another thing, she is fun-loving and she updated with the latest technology. At times, we joke around and just have a fun bonding time.
I am proud of her, whenever I hear even just one of my friends say "I wish she was my mom." I feel ever-so-lucky.
