For sure, I will be finding myself living by Professor Pausch’s words. He has become my hero. He has inspired me not to complain which I frequently do, scratch that, which we all frequently do. I have realized that I have the chance to improve my life and chase my dreams. I want to be remembered with things I have accomplished, things that are unique and would be useful. I am not the type of girl who would say that I will change the world. It was simply because I think can’t. But I have realized it was my only “brick wall” – thinking I cannot. Another that I learned from Mr. Pausch is that brick walls are there for a reason, they stop the ones that do not want it badly enough. So with that, I shall try my best. He did say that the people who are crazy enough to believe that they can change the world are the ones who actually do.
